Fics like And What Will They Think Of Me (When I Leave It All Behind?)

“Are you sure you’ll get there on time?” Tails was met with an unimpressed look from the blue hedgehog he’d directed the question towards. “Tails, do you even know who you’re talking to right now?” Sonic replied, to which Tails rolled his eyes. “Yeah, yeah, you’re super fast, but the city’s like a maze, and its super crowded at this time of night.” Tails said. “Plus, the cinema’s on the other side of the city.” “It’s fine, I can just take the alleyways. And even if I am late, I’ll be fashionably late.” Sonic said with a triumphant smirk, as if his rebuttal was the best in the world. Or: Sonic was going on a movie date with Shadow - he was excited! Until he got lost in the alleyways of the city just as Tails warned he would. And to make matters worse, he ran into trouble, and things take a turn for the worse.
