Fics like The Godfather

“Hi. We’re having a kid. We want you to be the godfather.” Mr. T was prepared for another extraterrestrial attack. He was prepared for a portal to Hell having been ripped open on 7th Ave, for a new magic super villain to have made half the city’s population disappear, hell, he’d been prepared for Darkseid’s fucking return, campaigning for destruction of the Earth with his massive planet of a ship again. What he was not prepared for was the woes of parenting. There’s the sound of scuffling on the other end of the line. “You’ve been such a great help over–” Mr. T hangs up before Clark can reach the end of his sentence.
