Fics like Project Rebirth. 2.0

File Designation: Project Rebirth. 2.0 Subject: JOHN F. WALKER Statue: Evaluated as Unstable/Conditional Summary: Subject represents one of several post-Serum initiatives designed to replicate Steve Rogers/Captain America. Unlike gamma-based trials (see: Banner, Bruce ), this experiment sought to produce a viable successor through cloning procedures and controlled upbringing. OR: Unknown to John, Sam and Bucky find out John is actually a clone of Steve. And an unsuccessful one that that. Meanwhile, John can't figure out why Bucky is starting to treat him differently. Nicer. He has to admit, he likes it. Likes what things are turning into, what they could be.
