Fics like for want of a shirt

Jack doesn’t even think about it when he feels the sweat drip down his neck and sets down his grill tongs to whip his shirt off. It’s a hot day, he’s grilling in his own backyard, and why shouldn’t he take his shirt off like he always does? Except he’s grilling for Robby today, spending the evening together for dinner and the game, and Robby is standing in the screen doorway with his beer in hand. He’s watching and waiting for a chance to help; can never let anyone do anything for him without trying to lessen the load. Jack becomes acutely aware of his presence when Robby starts coughing, choking on his beer.
