Fics like I Hope You Die

Lord Beranger's blood drenched gauntlets rise, ripping the helmet from his head. His face euphoric, screaming with pride, fists clenched and waving in victory as he backs away from his kill. Looking similar to a bear or a lion roaring out in triumph. Overwhelmed, and enraptured by his achievement that he's at the point of tears. Blinking through my own tears, cleared enough to see the Lord glance at me after finishing his tactless victory cry. Our eyes meet, and he's gone, imposing like a predator. And in the blink of an eye he's kneeling before me. Gingerly gripping my hands with his blood stained fingers, smearing me in my lover's blood. His voice wavering as he starts to speak, "Emma, please I beg of you, do not fear me." He urges, his hands tightening as I try to withdraw mine. "I will make up for this, I will love you infinitely more than he ever could have. Even if it takes the rest of my life I will prove the love I feel burning brightly inside for you. The deep rooted devotion, and admiration I feel for you. And if you choose to make me suffer for what I have done, I will never run or flee. For your life with me will be my divine punishment if you so choose, but my beloved wife you will be."
