Fics like Valley Girl

He looked at the mirror just to the side of him, dress still in hand, and nearly stopped breathing. The way he was holding it in front of himself almost made it look like he was wearing it. The soft sea foam green looked gorgeous against the scales scattered around his face and arms. The way the layered skirt flared around him disguised the fact that he had a very straight, flat figure. The dropped neckline helped with that too, framing his shoulders in a way that made them appear more slender, unlike his suits which only made them broader. For a moment he manifested his avian traits. The yellow wings looked closer to gold when up against the beautiful shades. Normally when he had both his cod and avian traits visible he just looked like a mess. Now he looked, well… He looked beautiful. or Jimmy finds some things out about herself and tells her family and loved ones, some more easily than others
