Fics like Where Time Binds Us

A month after Finn’s death, a spell meant to trace Caroline’s sire line goes horribly wrong. Instead of answers, Elena and Caroline are thrown a thousand years into the past—into the world of the Originals, long before Mystic Falls was ever founded. As wards of a village that will one day change history, the girls must navigate magic, secrets, and the beginnings of the vampire curse itself. With Traveler runes, ancient rituals, and a future they can’t yet reach, their only path home is to live through centuries they were never meant to survive. Friendships are forged, grudges are carried, and not all bonds can withstand the weight of time. By the time Elena and Caroline return to the present, nothing—and no one—will ever be the same. Pairings: Caroline/Klaus, Elena/Elijah, Kol/OC more will be added Warnings: Not Damon-friendly.
