Fics like hiding from the gallows

“Five hundred something days. I stopped counting, after a while. Time’s stuck, and I don't want it to get un-stuck because that would mean…that would mean that it’s going to be saturday at some point, and I’m not ready for that yet.” Valentino looks stunned and, perhaps, a little sick to his stomach. His cheeks have taken on a sickly grayish hue – it usually happens when he’s got an upset stomach, or a brain-shattering migraine. “What…what’s wrong with saturday?” There’s no way to put it nicely, so Marc does what he does best: he rips the band-aid off at once, still keeping Valentino close, close enough that he can feel his heartbeat pressed into his own chest, strong and fast as it ripples through the mattress. “You die on saturday. And the world is ending because I don’t want you to die.” In an attempt to prevent Valentino's death, Marc almost causes the end of the world.
