Fics like feeding on fever

He catches Agent Poindexter’s scent for the first time in the hotel lobby. It’s heady – warm and citrusy, a blend of sandalwood and something herby, something sharp. It would be intoxicating if it weren’t so subtle; buried as it is beneath layers of suppressants and soaps and injected beta hormones. If Matt weren’t already occupied with a bigger, more important quarry, it would make him pause for a second before he starts searching his pockets for a key he’s never had. An omega FBI agent is a rarity; must be truly exceptional for the agency to take on such a risk. Particularly where Wilson Fisk is concerned. --- the one where dex is an omega, matt is an alpha and the universe hates them both
