Fics like A new type of stutter

Harry Potter becoming depressed and numb with trauma and unable to continue with his life falls into a hollow existence and gives up on life. When he meets death again, his friend offers him a second chance at life with less baggage and possibly a happy ending (harry disagrees but has long since given up the idea of freewill). His second chance it seems has displaced him in a new time and he joins a new family, embarks on adventures he didn't know existed in his previous life, meets new people and draws a conclusion, he thinks whoever wrote history books and biographies a dirty lying liar (like you wouldn't believe). In his new life harry becomes who he would have with a chance but a few tendencies like wanting to save the world still came through and along on this ride are people who otherwise would have no reason to come together. (there's a bitch slapped involved if that's your thing and probably will be more.)
