Fics like until the world finds you again

Being forgotten is so frighteningly lonely that it makes him spiral sometimes. How can he explain that he feels like he’s in a dark tunnel and he can’t even tell which way he came in from or where the exit is. That he longs for the feeling you can only get when someone knows you. When someone cares for you. And on days like this, he wants to quit. On days like this, he wishes he hadn’t even made it out of the crumbling apartment and May’s arms. OR- Post NWH but Tony Stark is alive, and he’s wondering where the photo in his kitchen came from. Naturally, against all advice, he must track down this boy.
