Years after the events of DOFP, Erik feels dissatisfied with the progress made by The Brotherhood. No matter what he does, he can’t seem to get ahead of the humans. Meanwhile with his newly formed X-Men team, Charles is publicly promoting the school and its victories. Ever the jealous, possessive man, Erik conjures up a plan to get what he wants: A steady flow of influence into the government he wishes to topple and an opportunity to lure Charles back into his arms. Erik will do anything to get Charles back at his side. Charles will do anything to feel loved again.
