Fics like Before the Portrait

Set before the start of the classic novel- this fic explores the relationship between Artist and Muse that grew in the lead up to the fatal painting and Dorian's damning friendship with Lord Henry Wotton. In the novel, its said that Dorian and Basil were inseperable after meeting each other and spent everyday together until Dorian was accidentally introduced to Henry Wotton, however this is a part of the story we never get to see. Upon reading Dorian's tragic downfall yet again, I was left aching to see more of the days before Dorian sold his soul. Thus, this fic was born. Enjoy, nerds <3
