Fics like "You flatter me, Basil Hallward."

“You flatter me, Basil Hallward.” Basil’s name came out delightfully low, as if it curled around Dorian’s tongue and teeth before exiting between his lips. The painter was instantly sweating. “Oh, you know it.” Basil shook his head, flustered. “You know you’re good looking.” "Really.” Dorian raised an eyebrow. “Which part of me then, Basil, do you think is the best looking?” Basil slumped against the wall dramatically, rubbing a hand underneath his round-framed glasses. “Oh, Dorian. Don’t do this to me.” He felt as if Dorian had felt underneath his skin and pressed his nails into his pumping, swelling heart. He was in a state. “All right.” Dorian pursed his lips before laying himself back against the daybed. “Carry on being a mysterious artist.” His mouth quirked up slightly. “I find it charming.” - A fluffy fix it of sorts. Pre book-canon.
