Fics like Journey Back To Us

Bucky doesn't remember his and Alexei’s sordid history—Hydra's many mind wipes were too effective for him to retain any memory of it—but he does know he feels something for the big bear of a man. Alexei isn't just following Bucky around like a lost puppy—he remembers all of that lost history. He’s a man looking for connection, eager to jog Bucky’s memory so they might rekindle what they once had, burdened with the fear that it might all be water under the bridge. The tension between them can only stretch so far before it snaps, and these two will try and piece together some semblance of a relationship, complete with all the bumps in the road that come with that.
