Fics like Like Real People Do

The world has forgotten Peter Parker, but Spider-Man remains. Peter Parker is eking out a lonely living washing dishes in a dingy diner, surviving on left-over hot dogs, and trying not to freeze in his rundown apartment. While Spiderman tries to keep his neighbourhood safe in a home-made suit put together from scraps. When he crosses paths with Bucky Barnes during a botched weapons deal, the former Winter Soldier can't shake the feeling that this stubborn, infuriating kid needs help. Peter and Bucky navigate their tenuous alliance, while weapons erase people from existence, Peter's webs begin to fail, and Bucky's memories keep slipping around a face he should know. As these two lonely souls build an unlikely friendship, Peter harbors a secret that could destroy the only trust he's found. A found family story told in dual POV’s about grief, guilt, and learning how to live, like real people do.
