Fics like spider step dad dave (and his unending confusion)

The first time Dave met his girlfriend's kid, he and the Parkers had take-out Thai. They ate it huddled around the Parkers' TV, covered in mismatching throw blankets and watching old Friends episodes. May and Peter's lives were kind of... odd. The Parkers were ordinary—good people, working class, normal. But Peter had a brand spanking new StarkPhone, contrasting with his scuffed converse shoes and his threadbare science pun shirts. Dave didn't quite understand it. After the blip, Dave Peterson starts dating who he thinks is the woman of his (new) dreams—May Parker. OR May Pаrker dates a guy that isn't the worst person ever and he is VERY confused.
