At Shiz, Galinda Upland is adored, composed, untouchable. Elphaba Thropp is none of those things — and Galinda hates her for it. Or at least, that’s what she tells herself. But when a moment of unguarded vulnerability fractures the careful balance between them, both girls are forced to reckon with what’s been simmering beneath their rivalry all along. A slow burn about the spaces we take up, the ones we leave behind, and what it means to be truly seen. [I found a bunch of half finished fics that I wrote between 2017-2020 and recently got some actual motivation to fix and finish them up, hence the sudden revival of this account]
