Fics like Primary: the rise of Esplin 9466

(Note: The reason this hasn't been updated in a long time is I am having a whole lot of trouble writing in the voice of a pretentious military Andalite officer, which is a significant part of Chapter 29. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME with this endeavor, it would be much appreciated! I have a lot of notes of what I want to write about, I'm just having trouble putting it into actual words for the story.) Everything you ever loved about Animorphs, but from a Yeerkish perspective: A group of friends with very distinct personalities are thrust into an interstellar war at way too young of an age. At first they think it's a pretty clear-cut we're-the-good-guys, they're-the-bad-guys affair. But various events over the course of their lives end up warping their personalities and twisting around their ideas of who is right and who is wrong, and by the end of it all no one is left innocent. Just like the Animorphs series itself, this gets darker and angstier as time goes on, though it has moments of comic relief as well. Covers all the way from Hork-Bajir Chronicles to book 54, and fills in a lot of the missing plot elements in canon.
