Fics like #57 - The Fighter

"I knew that the time of submitting to my inner warrior – or ‘Mean Rachel’, as my friends had once named her – had ended. I’d never get rid of her completely. Even if I could, I wouldn’t want to. But if I had any chance at living a normal life, I needed Mean Rachel out of the driver’s seat. I had to rebuild those parts of me that had burned away in the heat of battle." The war is over, and Rachel is getting impatient for answers to her questions. When will Tobias make his final morph? When will her friends stop treating her like a loose cannon? And without an enemy to fight, how long will it be before her inner monster finally sets her free? Canon-compliant time travel AU. Set after The Survivor (#56). Can be read standalone.
