Fics like The Eyewitness

Yukako's day had started like any other. She had woken up early, had gone to school on time and by the end of the day she returned home. It should have been a day as any other. There was a couple arguing outside of her flat. Yukako had planned to walk past them, this wasn't the first time this had happened and she assumed it wouldn't be the last, but she was proven wrong. There was a flash of a pink humanoid figure which made her freeze in her path. The man her neighbour was yelling at, grabbed her forcefully by her arm and within a split-second and with a loud bang, she was no longer standing there. The only thing left of her was a black patch of ash on the ground and a hand the man was still holding onto. Yukako had flinched at the sound of the sudden explosion. She took a step back, away from the man. But the movement, however small it had been, caught his eye and his head snapped to face her. Yukako had just witnessed a murder. In broad daylight. And the murderer had seen her. - A part 4 rewrite in which Yukako knows the identity of the killer from the start. Too bad the killer knows hers too.
