"When Buck tried to rub his wrist against Eddie’s to transfer his scent and got stopped by the patches that covered both of their glands, he let out a deep grumble of frustration that had Eddie tensing up - not because he was scared or threatened, but because of how much he wanted Buck’s scent on him, how much he enjoyed the fact that his best friend wanted them to smell like each other. The way his body also lit up at the frustrated growl was something he shoved down until it would never see the light of day again. Not that it was anything wrong, of course.
