Fics like Executing Eclipse.exe

In order to stop the Mimic and slowly tear down more of Afton's defenses, Eclipse does some research on the Mimic's origin and resolves to journey to Murray's Costume Manor and retrieve the Data Diver and its special code. However, it won't be as simple as they anticipate when it comes to the technician with a hold of that Data Diver. Sure, it'd be easy to let the guy die and just pluck the thing off his corpse before the Mimic can, but... When you're trying to be a halfway decent person, sometimes the easiest option isn't the most ideal. --- Howdy from the author! If you've seen my tumblr, you've seen that I yearn for the Eclipse and Arnold friendship. So like I said in the tags, I'll do it myself. Originally it was just going to be a simple one-shot that actually started with what I wrote for chapter two, but more ideas strung themselves together and it... Snowballed beyond my control. :D This isn't going to be an epic tale of long and grand proportions, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless! And yes, I retconned Eclipse going to a different dimension just one day after posting it, sue me. x'D
