Fics like Castle in the Dark

Vic spends most of his time trapped inside the high tower of the Castle, an OCNI base in the outer reaches of the Terran Accord. He spends his days drinking tea, monitoring automated systems, and reading books he'd rather other people not know about. It's a boring life, but one that he's accustomed to. At least, it's boring until the Affini show up. With the Affini bearing down on the Castle, Vic engages an emergency defense protocol that locks the Castle down and seals it underground. Unfortunately, a handful of affini manage to slip inside. At least there's only four of them. Just how much damage can four Affini do?
