Fics like A Part of Who I Am

Dr. Sage McClaren has gotten used to the ways of Affini by now. An independent xenobotanist working with them every day he thinks he’s cracked the code to domestication: be a gay man. Kind of. Following a whirlwind of conversations that bring a fair bit of floret fantasies and fears to the surface, he meet Cyprassi, a male-presenting Affini who to his surprise- wants to get to know HIM. What follows is a whirlwind of broken preconceptions, internalized transphobia, obsessions and compulsions, and a whole lot of unpacking. All while building a relationship with this Affini that’s quickly becoming the greatest friend he’s ever had. And totally just his friend. Right?
