Fics like Ash and Pikachu's Mysterious Pokémon Journey

Pikachu and his adoptive brother Ash live in Sahra Town on the Sand Continent with their parents, Raichu and Sylveon. On the day when the two are finally old enough to head out on their own adventure, an encounter with a strange Pokémon named Hoopa sends them somewhere much stranger than they could have imagined: the human world. One unexpected revelation about Ash's origins later, the two prepare for a different kind of adventure. Originally a oneshot, later expanded into a collection of non-chronological shorts and snippets all set in the same AU. (enabling Work Skin recommended!)
