Fics like Rotten Work

Inspired by Pylades and Orestes: "I'll take care of you." "It's rotten work." "Not to me. Not if it's you." ˗ˏˋ ⍟ ˎˊ˗ He’s my friend. Steve didn’t know what else to say. Bucky, his friend, was not okay. Well, that was obvious, and he felt stupid for pointing it out, but he didn’t have a better word for what was going on. Everything just wasn’t okay. He had gone back under ice just a few minutes ago and Steve was sitting in the room over, head in his hands, feeling completely useless. He couldn’t help Bucky, he knew that. There was nothing he could do to undo all of Hydra’s brainwashing, all of Bucky’s meticulously wiped and reprogrammed memories were untouchable for Steve. All he could do was take care of him, so he did. ˗ˏˋ ⍟ ˎˊ˗
