Fics like Survival of the fittest

Back in Spain, your life had started to feel like it was going nowhere. Working as a horse vet didn’t have much of a future, and you were still living at home. You didn’t really mind—your family means everything to you—but deep down, you knew you needed a change. Then one day, the chance came. So you grabbed life by the reins, packed your things, and flew to the U.S. to work on a farm. For a while, it felt like things were finally moving forward. But everything changed faster than you could’ve imagined. The world began to fall apart—panic spread, cities turned to chaos, and the dead stopped staying... well, dead. Just like that, your new beginning turned into a fight to survive. Now, you spend your days riding through the forests, staying off the roads, avoiding towns, and doing whatever it takes to stay alive. Until one day, after going too long without eating and hearing a gunshot in the distance, you ran from the sound—and somehow end up in the arms of a grumpy-looking archer. And that’s where your story really begins.
