After being allowed to come back to Richmond, Jamie finds himself suddenly in dire need of a new agent. His current reputation and the questions surrounding his recent career moves make the process difficult, until he meets Tanner Huxley, who is willing to take a chance on representing him. They’ll need to work closely, put a lot of time and effort into rehabbing Jamie’s image, but Tanner is up for the challenge. The team can tell that something is up. Jamie’s behaviour is strange and sometimes veers right into alarming, and everyone has noticed. Everyone is worried and trying to help. Nobody knows what’s wrong, though, until Roy walks in on something he wasn’t supposed to see, and the truth comes out. Jamie, for one, doesn’t get why they’re making such a big deal out of this. It’s his fault, after all, and it isn’t the first time it’s happened, either. It takes a lot of time and effort to convince him that it matters. It always mattered.
