Fics like A Different Way

Thomas saves Anna from Mr. Green's assault during the concert and that leads him down a path of self improvement and budding friendships throughout the house. Jimmy, who’s been Thomas’ closest (and honestly, only) friend since they buried the hatchet after The Incident, starts to become jealous of the time Thomas starts spending with the rest of the staff, leading him to some realizations about himself. A canon-divergent AU, starting in S4, Ep 3.
