Fics like winds in the east (what’s to happen all happened before)

Growing up, Edwin had the most remarkable nanny. She took him on logic-defying adventures and yet, at the end she always made him feel silly for thinking that way. But soon enough, he was old enough to be shipped off to St. Hilarions, just as his father and grandfather before him. Soon, any memories of that enigmatic nanny were soon lost in the hustle and bustle of academic life. Add on seventy-three years of torture in Hell, it’s remarkable Edwin remembered he had a nanny at all. In the early years of their partnership, the boys decide to watch Mary Poppins (1964) because it is set during the Edwardian era of Edwin's youth. It brings up a lot of memories, in more ways than one.
