Fics like The Bat Colony(What If It Was Real?)

When Batman actually laughs at something Nightwing says, the Justice League knows something's up. Hal's investigation reveals the impossible truth: Batman and his growing family aren't human vigilantes—they're bat demons, one of Earth's most ancient and now endangered species. As Bruce undergoes a difficult emergence process, the League gets their first invitation to the hidden Colony beneath Gotham, where they'll meet the intimidating Patriarch Thomas Wayne and discover just how little they knew about their dark teammate. Some secrets were meant to be shared, even if they come with wings and glowing eyes. Directly inspired by the two stories attached to this fic! I cannot recommend them enough.
