Fics like Hideous Scars

In a world where omegas are controlled, conditioned, and stripped of their identities, survival means becoming whatever the system demands. Alpha Obito Uchiha has spent years searching for the omega he lost—a ghost from his childhood he’s never been able to forget. His final lead takes him to a grim omega barracks, a government-controlled holding center for unclaimed, unwanted omegas. There, Obito finds him: Kakashi, broken, scared, and nothing like the bold boy he once knew. The boy Obito remembers is gone—replaced by someone quiet, obedient, and terrified of taking up space. Someone who doesn’t remember his past. Or even him. To Kakashi, Obito is just another powerful alpha—dangerous, distant, and capable of erasing him with a look. Conditioned into obedience after a decade of punishment, Kakashi expects to be used, discarded, or broken in like livestock. Obito defies those expectations—but not perfectly. As Kakashi slowly begins to reclaim fragments of who he was—through quiet moments, painful truths, and a bond he doesn’t fully understand—Obito is waging a war in the shadows, tearing apart the very structure that tries to consume them both.
