Fics like fish out of water

Once, when Jimbei had walked in on their cook doing inventory in the pantry, Sanji told him that humans could survive months without food but only three days without freshwater. Not that those months would be anything close to pleasant, he’d laughed, smiling grimly. Jimbei worries for Luffy now. It has been three days, and there is a choice to make. Jimbei eats a Devil Fruit to save Luffy from an impossible situation. Or: what happens when a fishman gains the ability to drown?
