Fics like Legacies

Rory Gilmore’s first year at Yale takes an unexpected turn after a moment of brave defiance introduces her to new friends, new family, new truths, and the enigmatic world of the Life and Death Brigade. Rory is drawn into the complicated world of legacy families and inherited power. A chance bond with Stephanie Steele and a surprising connection with Colin McCrae push her to confront painful questions about identity, ambition, and belonging. As Hayden family secrets are forced to surface, Rory finds herself at the center of a quiet storm she never saw coming. Navigating trust, betrayal, and the politics of old money, she begins to reckon with who she is—and who she wants to become. Drama, introspection, and slow-burning revelations unfold as Rory starts to realize that the most important legacy may be the one she builds for herself.
