Fics like Reminders of the past

“Wait-“ There it was, even years later that voice was the same. Buck would recognise it anywhere, even if the last time he’d heard it they’d both been flinging insults at one another. “Wait I want to thank you-“ The voice faltered. Buck didn’t have much time to wonder why though because she was speaking again, “Buckley. Your turnouts say B- oh my god.” He closed his eyes, pressing his lips together tightly, and he could feel Hen and Chim’s confused gazes on his back. Then he pulled his helmet off, tucking it under his arm as he turned around. “Yes Taylor. It’s me.” “Uh- do you two know each other?” Chim’s eyes flicked between them both- and Hen was watching with narrowed eyes. “Knew. A long time ago. Right Taylor?” “Evan.” “You can lose the kicked puppy look. You’re not entitled to it.” .... Buck has a past none of his team know about, unfortunately for him being a Firefighters means facing blasts from the past like Taylor Kelly. At least he might finally get closure.
