“I have to go to a wedding,” he says, voice tight. Eddie’s eyebrows scrunch in confusion. That’s it? “You love weddings.” “Not this one. It’s in Pennsylvania. With my mom and dad. For a whole week,” he says, frustration evident in his tone. Well that makes a lot more sense. Buck at home for a whole week? Brutal. “Maddie, Chim and Jee are going, right?” Eddie asks. I-It’s just that my parents are expecting me to bring someone and when I don’t, because who the fuck would I ask to suffer for a week for me, they’re going to make comments about how I am going to be alone forever and it-it’s just already on my nerves and I still have nearly three weeks before I even have to go,” he rushes out, abandoning his coffee on the table as he paces back and forth in the kitchen. “I’ll come with you,” Eddie offers. He blinks – he hadn’t exactly thought that one through, but he doesn’t regret it, doesn’t want to take it back. Buck freezes where he’s at, body still as a statue as his head whips to look at Eddie. - or; buck and eddie fake date
