When he’d been so injured that Neptune’s weird ancient magic was the only thing that could hope to heal his cracks upon that rough entrance. And that was ages ago. Case in point, the very first thing the moon does with this newfound knowledge is roll away. Stop, drop, and roll, he thinks a little feverishly. The injuries are probably getting to him. Or: post asteroid dodgeball, Triton is healing and Neptune is breaking
