Fics like Fragmented

His orbit had never been this dark. Or cold. Neptune shivered, pulling his hood up while hugging himself as he hesitantly looked around- usually, he would start seeing Sun more clearly by now. His orbit should be warming up again as the area cleared, and then once again, he would get to hang out with Uranus. Only... his orbit hadn't stopped becoming darker. Or colder. At this point, the Sun had become a distant dot in the sky. He... couldn't see anyone- not Uranus, Jupiter, or Saturn. Nobody. Okay. Maybe his orbit changed again. That's fine. The solar system was always changing. No reason to worry! He giggled to himself nervously and turned around- the Kuiper Belt looked closer than their star at this point. That... wasn't good, right? Wasn't that too far? No, no, it's fine. His orbit will go back to normal soon enough. This isn't fine. Go back. Or How Neptune lost his mind in his orbit. And how it affects him now. He really wished he could remember more. If not for himself- for his moons, at least.
