A brief meander through the lives of Sam and Max's ancestors, Sameth and Maximus, exploring the struggles of taboo love in the late Victorian era. When I first played 302 I was like 'haha they're just reskinned sam and max they're probably still gay......oh my god they're still gay. in the homophobic year of our lord 1901'. And then I had to torment myself, obviously. Canon compliant to 302 and full of spoilers for it, very thoroughly a tragedy. But even dying embers are pretty while they're burning out, right?
