Fics like anchor, meet ship

“Whose kid is this?” Sanji demands, coming up beside them. Before Zeff can speak his piece, the kid turns around at the sound of his voice and gasps, almost chokes on their mouthful of pasta, and scrambles off Zeff’s lap face-first onto the floor. Sanji’s quick to catch them, righting them standing onto the floor instead, hands tight on their little shoulders. “Careful, kid. You okay?” They nod rapidly, curls bouncing thick and messy around their small face, almost obscuring their practically sparkling eyes. Then, before he can pull back, they launch themselves straight at him and wrap their arms tight around his legs. “Daddy!” they squeal, and Sanji’s entire world comes to a screeching halt. Or: Sanji finds out he has a daughter. It doesn’t go over very well.
