Fics like A place to land (and someone to catch you when you fall)

Dogman’s uniform feels tighter, his steps feel heavier, and no matter how much he tries to ignore it, the changes are hard to shake. He doesn’t want to talk about it—especially not with Petey. But Petey has never been great at minding his own business. Or: Dogman struggles with change, Petey won’t let him do it alone, and Li’l Petey is just happy to be here.
