Fics like Soma: LΞFT BΞHIND

Trapped at the bottom of the ocean, Simon thought he had finally escaped—only to realize he had lost the cruelest coin toss of all. The ARK, humanity’s last hope, has launched into the stars, carrying a copy of him. But he remains behind, stranded in the corpse of a dead station, alone in the suffocating dark. Betrayed by fate and left to rot in the abyss, Simon teeters on the edge of despair. Yet, something deep within him refuses to surrender. When the lights flicker back to life, a new resolve ignites. If the world has forsaken him, he will carve his own path out of this nightmare. Armed with nothing but his broken body and the remnants of WAU’s twisted gifts, Simon embarks on a desperate journey. The ocean still hides horrors, the station is failing, and his own humanity is slipping away—but he will survive. He will find a way out. Because if there’s one thing Simon has learned, it’s that he won’t go down without a fight.
