Fics like Forever & Ever

It was funny, really, how the world could shatter without notice, and never find itself lined up again. It was no secret that Gordon couldn't stand change. And there had been so much change recently. He liked predictability. He liked doing the same thing day in and day out. Sure, Thomas might find that boring, but there was a sense of comfort in routine. A sense of rightness. That was why all this change was rubbing him the wrong way. Surely, Edward could come back and Nia could go to keep Philip company. If he complained enough to the Controller, he might get listened to... Eventually. An expansion of the Forever & Ever episode, where Gordon can't just get over it. ■ Can be read as a standalone fic, it just features characters from the series.
