Inspired by a short little drawing I saw on tumblr. It made me cry, so I wrote this to make myself cry more. The Lost Cosmonauts is a theory, but I honestly believe it, so they’re here for her. Oppy contemplates it’s last moments of power on Mars before everything starts going dark and lonely before a very good girl comes to take it on. It/They pronouns for Oppy (Mars Opportunity Rover) at first.
