"I was actually hoping you would be my Best Man,” Remus said, a grin breaking out on his scarred face. “I mean, we may not have been friends since middle school, but-” James cut him off, a yell of excitement slipping from his lips as he pulled him into a hug so tight he felt Remus begin to squirm in his hold. “I would love to, Remus!” he beamed, wiping a few tears from his face. “You won’t regret this, either of you.” “Well, you might,” Sirius grimaced, chuckling. “You’ll have to spend a lot of time with Regulus. And he may not be in my parents’ pocket anymore but he can still be a right prat.” “Eh, it’ll be fine,” James reassured him, not worried at all, clapping him on the back. “How bad can it be?” - Or, James and Regulus are Remus and Sirius's best men. They haven't seen each other since childhood, but the years have just made them even more opposite: James loves weddings with every fiber of his being while Regulus despises the very idea of love. Or...does he? Chaos, confusion, miscommunication, pining, and unavoidable attraction and romance ensues.
