Casey's going through the wringer- when her... when the woman she has a complicated history with shows up as the defense counselor for a case Novak is prosecuting. Casey is especially vulnerable, and something has to change. Informal summary: Casey is adamant no one cares about her, and Alex is content to argue with her over that for the next decade if it means she'd sit down for a second. Inspired by something @jeongonion on tumblr posted, the idea that Casey and Alex are going against each other, but combined with the personal idea that Casey might struggle with mental health. This is a two-parter, with one side from Casey's perspective and the other from Alex's.
