He lost his mind and all his moons in the Kuiper Belt. And now he’s going to lose them all again. Triton. Nereid. Proteus. Larissa. Despina. Galatea. Naiad. Thalassa. Halimede. Sao. Laomedeia. Neso. Psamathe. Hippocamp. S/2002 N-5. S/2021 N-1. He’s going to lose them all. And maybe- maybe this wouldn’t have happened if Neptune didn’t disappear all the time. Maybe this wouldn’t have happened if Neptune listened to his friend’s concerns. Maybe this wouldn’t have happened if Neptune wasn’t as much of a dimwit. (...) It wasn't revenge to Caelus. It wasn't! ...right? Neptune never got it. Never understood. Neptune may have been fine with his orbit. With the loneliness and losing his mind, but Caelus wasn’t. How could he be? Well, whatever. Neptune got what he wanted. Everyone did. Everyone’s story gets a happy ending. Except for Caelus', as usual. Because stars forbid he's allowed to be happy. Neptune and Uranus during and after the BOPX arc: them grappling with the possibility of losing their moons… and one another.
