Fics like all these things that i've done

People never expected much of a lower house omega like Jayce, besides seeking a superior mate to elevate the status of House Talis. But Jayce wasn’t a stereotypical omega. On top of his scent being weak, he had always been headstrong, career-focused, with a vibrant and exuberant personality. He was determined to succeed on his own, without relying on an alpha. Viktor wasn’t like the other alphas. He had always treated Jayce as an equal, and Jayce couldn’t recall Viktor ever once mentioning their secondary genders in two whole years of working together. He was convinced Viktor had assumed him to be a beta. That is, until two days before Progress Day… “Your heat is coming early. You should prepare.” Viktor said plainly, sniffing the air. Jayce nearly fell out of his chair. “Wh-...How could you even know that? Most people can’t even smell me.” “What are you talking about?” Viktor asked, stepping unnervingly close. He took Jayce’s wrist in hand, and inhaled deeply. “Your scent is so sweet. The strongest of anyone I’ve ever met.” --- or ABO fated mates AU where viktor and jayce are feral for each other and go insane-o style (with some angst, feels, and confessions in between)
