Freddie knows the game all too well—maybe because they’ve been playing it ever since seventh grade. He and Sam Puckett were sworn enemies. Well, actually, you could call them frenemies, considering they’ve been getting along well enough since their infamous kiss by the fire escape—just to get it over with. Of course, they didn’t make a big deal out of it, not that it matters anyway. Their dynamic has never really changed. But what happens when someone new comes to Ridgeway High and threatens Freddie’s place? Would Freddie be fine with someone stepping into his role in their frenemy dynamic, or would he feel weird and defensive about it?
